In the direct proximity it gives a Anglerparadies , where one may fish directly in the ponds of raising of fish (Balatonoeszoed). The entrance costs ca. 6 EUR per fishing rod.
In Szántód (a locality of far) one can cross the Balaton with the car ferry and visit the north side.
In Balatonföldvár there are three very well maintained and freely accessible beach plants with boat rental business. (dogs are not here desired). The parking lots due to it are likewise free.
In Balatonföldvár there is likewise a very large yachting port (see picture).
